Arrival Times: Alpacas can be penned after mid-day Thursday 1st October 2020. 

Departure Times: No alpaca shall be removed from the show prior to end of show on Sunday 4th October without the permission of the Chief Steward. Leaving early without permission will result in those exhibitors being disqualified.

Dress Code:  All handlers must be in the correct attire to enter the show ring: The Dress Code is strictly black trousers/skirts, AANZ Polo shirts or plain white shirt, black AANZ jacket or plain black jacket (No logos) and black covered in shoes. No Gumboots.

Alpaca Penning: The Cattle pens will be labelled with exhibitor’s name. Straw bedding will be supplied - No Carboard Chip or Shredded Paper allowed on site. 

Power is available to purchase at an additional cost of $250+gst. All fans and electrical equipment must have a current certification tag attached, otherwise you will be asked to remove the item.

Outside Pens: There is a very limited amount of space available for outside pens to be erected. Preference will be given to Sponsors to erect their pens/gates first, then a first
in first served basis will be applied as entries are received and requesting outside area
to erect pens.

Alpaca Feed: Alpaca feed is available as listed below.  This must be ordered by 15th September. Feed can be collected upon your arrival. To order national2020@alpaca.org.nz

Meadow Hay $17.00 per bale

Meadow Chaff $35.00 per bag

AANZ National Alpaca Show

The 2020 AANZ National Show is going to be a fantastic event.  The show will take place from Friday 2nd October 9am to 4pm, Saturday 3rd October 9am to 4pm and Sunday 4th October 9am to 1pm.

Fleece Show

Judging will take place on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th September 2020, and the fleeces will be on display throughout Alpaca 2020 Show.
